Lena Headey Seeks Justice in New Revenge Thriller
Ballistic, Poster Revealed Ahead of April Release
A new revenge thriller is lining up its target this spring.
Brainstorm Media has unveiled the official poster for Ballistic, the upcoming action thriller directed by Chad Faust and starring Lena Headey. The film is scheduled to release in select theaters and on demand on April 17, 2026, delivering a tense story of grief, guilt, and vengeance.
In Ballistic, Headey plays Nance Redfield, a mother whose life is shattered after her son is killed while serving in Afghanistan. When she learns the bullet that killed him may have been manufactured at the very ammunition plant where she works, grief transforms into a relentless pursuit of the truth.
As Nance digs deeper, she begins to uncover disturbing connections between her workplace and the battlefield overseas, sending her down a dangerous path toward revenge against those responsible.
The dramatic thriller also stars Amybeth McNulty, Hamza Haq, and Enrico Colantoni. The project is produced by David Tish, Lee Nelson, Roman Kopelevich, and Crystal Hill, with Faust directing from his own script.
According to the film’s official overview, Ballistic centers on a mother working at an ammunition manufacturing company whose devastating discovery leads her into a desperate search for answers about the weapon that took her son’s life.
The story explores the psychological fallout of war far from the battlefield, asking difficult questions about responsibility, grief, and the ripple effects of modern conflict.
Faust, known for his debut feature Girl, continues his collaboration with Headey on the project, crafting what promises to be an emotionally charged action thriller grounded in real-world consequences.
With its newly released poster setting the tone for a dark and personal revenge story, Ballistic will arrive April 17 in select theaters and on demand.
Expect more updates as the release approaches.
