Shudder’s “Season of Screams” continues through December with new horror premieres, live watch parties, Tales From the Crypt screenings and holiday programming.

Shudder is extending spooky season through the end of the year with additional programming, live watch parties, theatrical events and a limited-time subscription offer as its “Season of Screams” continues into the holidays.

The horror streaming service will roll out new premieres every Friday through December, including New Group, Tinsman Road, Ice Cream Man, The Holy Boy, Unholy Night and Split Rock. The schedule also includes new episodes of The Boulet Brothers’ Dragula and the holiday special Joe Bob Conquers Christmas.

Shudder is also offering a limited-time annual subscription promotion priced at $29.99 for one year.

Before the November programming begins, Shudder is partnering with Alamo Drafthouse for a one-night-only Tales From the Crypt theatrical event on Wednesday, October 28. Five episodes of the anthology series will screen at participating theaters in Austin, Chicago, Brooklyn and San Antonio.

The program includes “Dig That Cat…He’s Real Gone,” directed by Richard Donner; “…And All Through the House,” directed by Robert Zemeckis; “The Switch,” directed by Arnold Schwarzenegger; “Television Terror,” directed by Charlie Picerni; and Walter Hill’s “Cutting Cards.”

The event will mark the first time the series has been presented on the big screen, according to Shudder.

Season of Screams will also introduce Friday-night watch parties beginning at 9 p.m. ET on Shudder TV, pairing new premieres with films from the service’s existing catalog.

The November 6 “Spotlight on Director Yûta Shimotsu” program pairs the Shudder Original New Group with Shimotsu’s Best Wishes to All. On November 13, the “Friday the 13th Slumber Party” features The Slumber Party Massacre and Slumber Party Massacre II.

November 20’s “Evil Eats” double feature combines Ice Cream Man with Salt Along the Tongue, while November 27’s “Creepy Communities” program pairs The Holy Boy with Messiah of Evil.

December’s watch parties begin with Joe Bob Conquers Christmas on December 4, followed by the “Fanged, Ferocious, and Funny” program on December 11, which will include Boys From County Hell alongside a title still to be announced.

December 18 brings a “Fresh Anthologies” watch party featuring Access Horror: 2026 Shorts Program and another title to be announced. The Christmas Day program closes the announced schedule with “Eco-Horror Meets Cosmic Dread,” pairing the new Shudder Original Split Rock with The Beach House.

The weekly film premieres begin November 6 with New Group, written and directed by Yûta Shimotsu. The Japanese horror film follows high school student Ai as a cult-like mentality begins spreading among those around her, transforming ordinary gymnastics routines into deadly behavior. Anna Yamada, Yuzu Aoki and Pierre Taki star.

Shudder Exclusive Tinsman Road follows on November 13. Set in the backwoods of New Jersey, the film centers on a young man investigating the mystery surrounding his long-missing sister and his family home.

Ice Cream Man arrives November 20. The Shudder Exclusive follows a mysterious ice cream vendor whose arrival in an otherwise idyllic town is followed by children descending into increasingly violent behavior after eating his treats.

Italian horror enters the lineup November 27 with The Holy Boy. The Shudder Original follows Sergio, a teacher transferred to Remis, a secluded village known for the happiness of its residents. He discovers the community regularly gathers around Matteo, a 15-year-old boy whose embrace is said to remove pain and sorrow. Sergio’s attempt to uncover the truth behind the village’s relationship with Matteo eventually puts him at odds with the community.

The programming shifts toward Christmas horror on December 4 with Unholy Night. The film follows Gino as his family’s traditional Christmas Eve becomes a fight for survival following the unexpected return of his long-dead grandmother. With other deceased relatives appearing throughout the neighborhood, Gino and his ex must find a way to survive the increasingly unusual family reunion.

Also arriving December 4 is Joe Bob Conquers Christmas. Joe Bob Briggs and Darcy the Mail Girl will host two Christmas films as part of the annual charity fundraiser. The special premieres live before becoming available on demand December 6.

Shudder’s Christmas Day premiere is Split Rock, starring Clark Backo and Drew Ray Tanner as geologists Lauren and Ben. The pair travel into remote badlands to investigate an unusual geological anomaly, where the discovery of an ancient force leads to a series of escalating events for their research team.

Meanwhile, The Boulet Brothers’ Dragula Season 7 continues with new episodes on Tuesdays through its December 29 season finale. Dracmorda and Swanthula Boulet return as hosts as competitors from around the world face challenges involving costume design, makeup, special effects, performance and craftsmanship. Shudder TV will also host live Dragula watch parties Tuesdays at 9 p.m.

The expanded programming continues Shudder’s previously announced effort to carry its seasonal horror lineup beyond Halloween and through the end of 2026, combining new original and exclusive films with catalog programming, live events and holiday-themed specials.
