Terrifying looking yoga found footage horror film "Mind Body Spirit" heading to Chattanooga



You read that right YOGA HORROR! In a film that looks as mesmerizing as it does terrifying Alex Henes & Matthew Merenda delivers MIND BODY SPIRIT. Already making noise at various international festivals MIND BODY SPIRIT will play at this year's CHATTANOGA FILM FESTIVAL. The feature follows a young woman trying to follow her grandmothers yoga methods for all her viral viewers. Things start to go array for everyone to witness and MIND BODY SPIRIT starts to ask the question is Anya alone in her practice?


Welcome to Mind Body Spirit, a film that truly tests the flexibility of fear.


In this fast, freaky found-footage flick, Anya, an aspiring yoga influencer, embarks on a ritual practice left behind by her estranged grandmother. She documents the practice on her YouTube channel for the world to watch, allowing her audience intimate access to her journey.

But what starts as a spiritual self-help guide quickly evolves into something much more sinister. As Anya becomes obsessed with the mysterious power of the practice, she unwittingly unleashes an otherworldly entity that begins to take control of her life – and her videos.

Now Anya must race to unlock the truth, before her descent into madness threatens to consume her mind, body and spirit. By the time she reveals the true nature of the ritual, will it be too late?

MIND BODY SPIRIT was written and directed by Alex Henes & Matthew Merenda. The film stars Sarah J. Bartholomew, Madi Bready, KJ Flahive, Anna Knigge, Kristi Noory and was produced by Dan Asma and Jesse McClung. The film has had a successful festival run and has screened at Int’l Horror and Sci-Fi Film Festival where it won Best Horror Feature. It has also screened at Telluride Horror Show and DeadCenter. MIND BODY SPIRIT has a running time of 80 minutes and is for sale in all territories.
