The Creep Tapes Season 3 Trailer Reveals Six New Tapes and September Premiere

Shudder has released the official trailer for the third season of The Creep Tapes, offering the first look at six new installments of the episodic series created by writers and executive producers Mark Duplass and Patrick Brice.

Season 3 will premiere with two episodes on Tuesday, September 15, exclusively on Shudder and AMC+, continuing the expansion of the Creep franchise that began with Brice’s 2014 film starring Duplass.

The series is structured around a collection of videotapes taken from the private archive of Duplass’ unnamed serial killer. Each recording introduces another person who has agreed to be filmed, typically without understanding the circumstances surrounding the person behind the camera. As the encounters progress, his increasingly unusual behavior begins to reveal the potential danger facing those who have entered his orbit.

The newly released trailer previews the six tapes that will make up the third season while introducing a new group of guest stars opposite Duplass.

Kate Siegel, whose recent credits include Carrie, joins the season alongside Nic Hamilton, known for IT, and Elliott Fullam, who appeared in Terrifier 2 and Terrifier 3. Duplass’ daughter Ora Duplass, who appears in Coven Academy, will also join the series for a throwback episode. Additional guest stars are expected throughout the six-episode run.

Duplass and Brice have remained the central creative team behind Creep since launching the franchise with the original film. That was followed by Creep 2 in 2017 before the concept was expanded into an episodic format with The Creep Tapes.

Rather than moving away from the franchise’s found-footage foundation, the series has allowed the filmmakers to apply the format to individual encounters, with each tape providing another entry from the killer’s collection.

The third season continues that approach with another six recordings and a rotating cast of performers joining Duplass across the new episodes.

The Creep Tapes Season 3 premieres with two episodes Tuesday, September 15, exclusively on Shudder and AMC+.
