Mackenzie Foy, Sean Bean, and Joe Pantoliano Star in Civil War Western The Isolate Thief
Radial Entertainment has unveiled the first look at The Isolate Thief, a new Civil War-era Western arriving exclusively in theaters on July 10.
Produced by the team behind the acclaimed Western Old Henry, the film combines frontier survival, outlaw action, and historical drama against the backdrop of the American Civil War.
Directed by John Suits (3022) and written by Kevin Lefler, The Isolate Thief stars Mackenzie Foy (Interstellar), Odeya Rush (Corporate Retreat), Jack Kesy (The Killer), Ty Simpkins (The Whale), Martin Sensmeier (Frybread Face and Me), Joe Pantoliano (Bad Boys for Life), and Sean Bean (The Lord of the Rings trilogy).
Set during a brutal winter in the midst of the Civil War, the story follows a young woman who finds herself as the sole caretaker of a remote Union Army outpost. Her isolated existence takes a dangerous turn when she unexpectedly comes into possession of a stash of stolen gold.
The discovery quickly attracts the attention of a ruthless gang of outlaws determined to claim the treasure for themselves.
With nowhere to run and no one to rely on, the young woman must use her wits and determination to stay ahead of her pursuers as her remote home transforms into a battleground.
The newly released trailer highlights the film's harsh winter setting, tense standoffs, and survival-driven narrative while showcasing the sweeping landscapes of the American frontier. The combination of a contained siege story and classic Western elements gives The Isolate Thief a unique setup that places its protagonist at the center of an escalating fight for survival.
Mackenzie Foy leads the cast in what appears to be a physically demanding role, while Sean Bean and Joe Pantoliano add veteran presence to a film that blends historical conflict with frontier suspense.
Following the success of Old Henry, audiences have continued to show strong interest in character-driven Westerns that focus on tension, survival, and moral choices rather than large-scale spectacle. The Isolate Thief looks poised to continue that tradition while delivering a Civil War story centered on resilience and determination.
The Isolate Thief rides into theaters nationwide on July 10.
