Tickets Are Now on Sale for Casper Kelly’s Buddy as New Teaser and ‘Oh Buddy’ Commercial Arrive
Roadside Attractions and Saban Films have released a new teaser for Buddy, the upcoming horror film from Casper Kelly, with tickets now officially on sale ahead of its August 28, 2026 theatrical release.
The latest rollout includes Teaser 3 as well as a new “Oh Buddy” commercial, continuing the film’s marketing campaign built around the fictional children’s television program at the center of the story.
Directed by Kelly and written by Casper Kelly and Jamie King, Buddy stars Cristin Milioti, Delaney Quinn, Patton Oswalt, Michael Shannon, Topher Grace, and Keegan-Michael Key.
The film centers on Buddy, a bright orange unicorn and the star of the children’s television series It’s Buddy!. The show follows a group of children who spend their days singing, dancing, and helping Buddy spread happiness and life lessons.
The new teaser offers another look at the colorful world of the series while keeping the film’s larger story largely under wraps.
Roadside Attractions and Saban Films have also released the “Oh Buddy” commercial, another piece of in-universe marketing tied to the fictional program. Fans can also text 571-OH-BUDDY (571-642-8339) to join Buddy’s Fan Club.
The film is produced by Tyler Davidson, Drew Sykes, Raphael Margules, J.D. Lifshitz, and Tracy Rosenblum.
