V/H/S Franchise Finally Goes Full Halloween with V/H/S Halloween
You’d think with how closely tied Halloween and the V/H/S series are, the franchise would’ve already given us a full Halloween-themed entry. While Radio Silence’s “10/31/98” segment in the original V/H/S (2012) is set on Halloween night, the films have never fully explored the holiday—until now.
Today, Shudder dropped the teaser for V/H/S Halloween, which begins like a nostalgic family Halloween PSA before spiraling into the carnage and chaos the series is known for.
The 8th Installment in the V/H/S Franchise Will Feature:
Diet Phantasma – directed by Bryan M. Ferguson
Fun Size – directed by Casper Kelly
Home Haunt – directed by Micheline Pitt-Norman & R.H. Norman
Kidprint – directed by Alex Ross Perry
Ut Supra Sic Infra – directed by Paco Plaza
Coochie Coochie Coo – directed by Anna Zlokovic
The new anthology promises a collection of Halloween-themed videotapes unleashing twisted, blood-soaked tales—turning trick-or-treat into a fight for survival.
Check out the first still and teaser now, and keep an eye on HMU for full coverage as V/H/S Halloween heads toward its world premiere at Fantastic Fest this September.
