‘Valley View Motel’ Teaser Previews 1970s Heist Thriller Ahead of FrightFest World Premiere

A new teaser has arrived for Valley View Motel, the 1970s-set heist thriller from writers and directors Kevin Ignatius and Nick Psinakis. The film will make its world premiere at Tubi FrightFest London on August 31.

Set in 1977, Valley View Motel follows two small-time criminals whose diamond heist goes wrong, forcing them to take refuge at a remote motel in Pennsylvania. Their attempt to regroup is complicated by the motel’s unusual sibling owners, a hitman closing in on them and a series of increasingly dangerous decisions that turn the night into a fight for survival.

The film stars Corin Clay, Kevin Ignatius, Laura Im, Judy J. Lee, Tom Mesmer, Logan Psinakis, Nick Psinakis, Janie Sharon, Soulo Smith, McKenzie Such and Michael Thyer.

The newly released teaser offers a first look at the film’s period setting and the escalating chaos surrounding the motel, with the footage leaning into the collision between crime-thriller tension, dark humor and violent consequences.

Ignatius and Psinakis share writing and directing duties on the feature, which arrives at FrightFest as one of the festival’s world premieres this year.

Valley View Motel will screen Monday, August 31 at 1:10 p.m. at ODEON Luxe Leicester Square in London.

The world premiere marks the film’s first public screening ahead of any wider release plans.
