This Swedish sci-fi adventure—formerly titled UFO Sweden—delivers a rebellious teen heroine, a ragtag crew of alien chasers, and a surprisingly emotional mystery orbiting one big question: What if the truth really is out there?

Directed by genre collective Crazy Pictures and starring Inez Dahl Torhaug, WATCH THE SKIES follows a defiant teenager still haunted by the disappearance of her father. But she’s not buying the story that he ran off. She’s convinced he was abducted—and her only allies in the search for answers are the eccentric misfits of a local UFO club. Think The Goonies in a Swedish garage, with walkie-talkies, warehouse raids, and a lot of heart.

In a first-of-its-kind release, WATCH THE SKIES uses Flawless’ AI-driven visual dubbing, meaning the actors’ lips move as if they’re speaking English—without the uncanny valley weirdness of traditional dubs. Early audiences couldn’t even tell it was originally in Swedish. For purists, the original language version is also available as a bonus feature.
