Bacon and Yayan Ruhain rounding out the cast. The film is produced by Matthew Chausse and Evangelo Kioussis. XYZ Films will release the film domestically in early 2025.

The rights deal was negotiated by Matthew Chausse on behalf of the filmmakers with Maxime Cottray from XYZ Films.

In a partnership with XYZ Films, the original BEYOND SKYLINE was distributed by Vertical Entertainment before its festival debut at Sitges Film Festival in Spain in the fall of 2017. The film was met with uproarious approval from festival crowds around the world, playing at Trieste Science+Fiction, Toronto After Dark, Austin Other Worlds, Rio Grind Vancouver, Cinepocalypse Chicago as well as the Boston Sci-Fi Film Festival where up and coming O’Donnell was give the “Emerging Voice” Award.  Uwais also has a history of working with XYZ Films, dating back to his star turn in the global success THE RAID franchise, as well as THE NIGHT COMES FOR US, and most recently he co-starred in XYZ’s science fiction actioner ASH, directed by Flying Lotus.

"Since we first met Iko Uwais, Matthew Chausse and I have been pushing to make a star vehicle for him like Warpath. Pairing him with the truly versatile action legend Scott Adkins, along with XYZ films, the company that started things off for us, has been a dream come true," said Liam O’Donnell.
