Christmas at the Kringles brought its holiday horror campaign to Los Angeles with a special fan screening presented in partnership with Bloody Disgusting and Dead Meat at Heritage Square Museum ahead of the film’s theatrical release on October 30, 2026.

The event brought together members of the cast and creative team for a fan-focused screening of the upcoming horror-comedy, followed by a Q&A moderated by James Janisse of Dead Meat.

Attendees included Rachel Bilson, Rob Riggle, Arden Myrin, Beverly D’Angelo, Elliott Egler, Zeke Jones, Jack Jewkes, Rhino Michaels and Olivia Allen, Bilson’s producing partner. Director Kevin Lewis, producer Andrew Ortenberg and casting director Cole Blackburn were also in attendance.

Directed by Lewis and written by Zack Imbrogno, Christmas at the Kringles centers on the Severson family, who move into a quiet suburban neighborhood and quickly become acquainted with their next-door neighbors, the Kringles, a family that celebrates Christmas year-round.

What initially appears to be an eccentric but harmless holiday obsession becomes increasingly unsettling as Mark and Julie grow concerned about their son’s attachment to the Kringles. After tensions escalate, Mark goes next door to retrieve his family and discovers that the neighbors’ intentions extend beyond seasonal enthusiasm.

The story ultimately shifts into a rescue mission as Mark teams with a rogue Santa in an effort to save his family from the Kringles’ plan to hypnotize and indoctrinate them.

The cast is led by Ron Livingston, Rachel Bilson, Rob Riggle, Arden Myrin and Beverly D’Angelo, with David Wain, Thomas Lennon and Donald Faison also appearing.

The Los Angeles screening adds another stop to the film’s pre-release rollout, with Bloody Disgusting and Dead Meat helping bring the genre community directly into the promotional campaign.

Lewis, whose previous genre work includes Willy’s Wonderland, returns to horror with a film that blends suburban unease, Christmas imagery and action-comedy elements around a holiday-themed threat.

Christmas at the Kringles opens exclusively in theaters October 30, 2026.
