Halle Berry Horror Thriller ‘Never Let Go’ Comes to 4K UHD and Blu-ray November 11

Alexandre Aja’s psychological horror thriller Never Let Go, starring Halle Berry, is getting a new physical media release, with Lionsgate bringing the film to 4K UHD and Blu-ray on November 11, 2026.
Directed by Aja (Crawl, The Hills Have Eyes) from a screenplay by KC Coughlin and Ryan Grassby, Never Let Go stars Berry as a mother attempting to protect her twin sons from an evil she believes has consumed the world beyond the safety of their isolated home.
The family’s survival depends on remaining physically connected to the house whenever they venture outside, using ropes as tethers to prevent the evil from reaching them. That system begins to fracture when one of the boys questions whether the threat his mother has warned them about actually exists, placing both the family’s bond and their survival at risk.
Berry stars alongside Percy Daggs IV (The Last Days of Ptolemy Grey) and Anthony B. Jenkins (The Deliverance), with William Catlett (A Thousand and One), Matthew Kevin Anderson (The Flash) and Christin Park (The 100) rounding out the cast.
Never Let Go also holds a particular place in Horror Movies Uncut’s recent festival coverage. HMU attended the film’s world premiere at Fantastic Fest, where Aja’s return to psychological and survival horror was among the higher-profile genre premieres of the festival.
While the film did not emerge as a major theatrical box-office success, Never Let Go continued Berry’s renewed presence in genre filmmaking. The Oscar-winning actress has maintained a long connection to genre projects throughout her career, including the X-Men franchise and Gothika, while more recent projects have brought her back into science fiction, thriller and horror territory.
For Never Let Go, Berry is placed at the center of a comparatively intimate survival story. Rather than relying solely on the external threat surrounding the family, the film uses uncertainty over what exists outside the house — and whether the children should continue believing their mother — as a central source of tension.
The November physical release will include several behind-the-scenes features examining the production. “Making Never Let Go” explores the development of the film, while “Creating Momma’s House” focuses on the isolated home at the center of the story. “Tethered Together” examines another of the film’s defining concepts: the ropes connecting the family to their home and one another.
The 4K UHD and Blu-ray release will also include deleted scenes and the film’s theatrical trailer.

For horror collectors, the new edition gives Never Let Go another opportunity to find an audience on physical media following its theatrical run. It also adds another Aja title to 4K, with the filmmaker continuing a genre career that has included High Tension, The Hills Have Eyes, Piranha 3D, Crawl and Oxygen.
Lionsgate will release Never Let Go on 4K UHD and Blu-ray on November 11, 2026.
