“Keeper”: Osgood Perkins and Neon Reunite for a Sinister Cabin Horror This October

The cryptic new poster for Keeper hints at a disturbing presence—and a chilling nursery rhyme.

Neon & Osgood Perkins Tease Something Sinister with Keeper—Coming This Fall

Neon and Osgood Perkins are teaming up once again for a twisted descent into psychological horror with their upcoming film Keeper. If you thought LongLegs was unsettling, brace yourself—because Keeper just dropped a cryptic new poster that screams dread without saying a word.

Well… almost.

The haunting poster—which Neon quietly released yesterday—features ominous handwritten scrawlings:

“I don’t want to play in your yard. I don’t like you anymore. You’ll be sorry when you see me. Sliding down our cellar door.”

The message feels like a broken nursery rhyme from a presence that’s not quite human—and definitely not friendly.

So, who is “you”? That’s the question Keeper wants you asking.

While the teaser leaves much to the imagination, the official synopsis (via IMDb) gives us a peek behind the cellar door:

Liz and Malcolm travel to a secluded cabin for a romantic anniversary getaway. However, Malcolm unexpectedly returns to the city, leaving Liz alone in the cabin—where she soon confronts a sinister presence and the chilling legacy of the cabin’s past.

The film stars Tatiana Maslany (Orphan Black), Rossif Sutherland (Possessor), and Tess Degenstein. It’s written by Nick Lepard, whose last film Dangerous Animals already proved he knows how to layer dread like fog.

Keeper is scheduled for release on October 8th, and don’t be shocked if it pops up as one of the secret screenings at Fantastic Fest or other fall festivals. With Neon’s recent run of eerie marketing masterstrokes, and Perkins’ track record (The Blackcoat’s Daughter, I Am the Pretty Thing That Lives in the House), Keeper is poised to slip under your skin—quietly, and without warning.

Stay tuned… and maybe double check that your cellar door is locked.
