Leviticus Reveals Haunting Official Poster Ahead of June 19 Theatrical Release
NEONhas unveiled the official poster for Leviticus, the upcoming psychological horror film written and directed by Adrian Chiarella, ahead of its theatrical release on June 19.
Following strong reactions out of both Sundance Film Festival and South by Southwest, the new poster leans fully into the film’s intimate and unsettling premise. Featuring two bloodied teenage boys locked in an emotional embrace, the artwork highlights the film’s central conflict involving desire, identity, and survival.
The official synopsis reads:
“Two teenage boys must escape a violent entity that takes the form of the person they desire most — each other.”
The film stars Joe Bird and Stacy Clausen and appears to blend coming-of-age drama with supernatural horror elements. The poster’s muted color palette and shadow-heavy imagery continue the atmospheric tone teased throughout the film’s early festival rollout.
With NEON backing the release, Leviticus joins a growing slate of psychologically driven genre films arriving this summer. The official poster suggests a film focused as much on emotional tension as physical danger, with the mysterious entity at the center of the story remaining largely hidden from view.
Leviticus opens in theaters June 19.
