David Chokachi Leads Father-Son Survival Thriller Married Alive Arriving This Father's Day Weekend

Independent distributor Studio Dome has announced a June 21 release date for Married Alive, a survival thriller centered on family, sacrifice, and the lengths a parent will go to save a child.

Timed for Father's Day weekend, the film stars Baywatch veteran David Chokachi alongside Allen Williamson in a tense wilderness survival story that places a father and son in a life-or-death race against time.

Written and directed by Bruce Reisman, Married Alive follows Mack and his adult son Tony as they embark on what is intended to be their final father-son off-road adventure before Tony's upcoming wedding. The trip takes a devastating turn when their Jeep crashes off a cliff, leaving Tony trapped beneath the wreckage in a rising riverbed with no access to help.

Facing impossible odds and a rapidly shrinking window to save his son, Mack is forced to seek assistance from an unlikely ally: a fugitive on the run. As the situation grows more desperate, survival becomes dependent on trust, determination, and difficult choices.

Chokachi, best known to television audiences for his role as Cody Madison on Baywatch, leads the cast alongside Allen Williamson, who is recognized for his work on The Rich & the Ruthless. The supporting cast includes Yancy Butler, Skye Coyne, Zach Mendez, Aaron Fors, Matthew Reis, and Owen Alba-Harvey.

According to Reisman, the story focuses on the emotional and physical challenges that emerge when family bonds are tested under extreme circumstances.

"This story explores the lengths a father will go to protect his child, even when that means making impossible choices with dangerous people. The survival elements put both characters through tests that reveal who they really are," Reisman said in a statement.

Studio Dome's David Josh Lawrence described the film as an intense thriller built around universal fears surrounding family and survival.

At 89 minutes, Married Alive combines survival thriller elements with a father-son relationship at its core. The film arrives as a counterprogramming option during Father's Day weekend, offering audiences a suspense-driven story built around resilience, sacrifice, and family loyalty.

Married Alive will be released on June 21 through Studio Dome.
