NEON Unveils First Trailer for SXSW Thriller It Ends Ahead of August Theatrical Release
One of this year’s most talked-about premieres at SXSW is finally giving horror and thriller fans a closer look.
NEON has released the first official trailer for It Ends, the psychological thriller that generated plenty of conversation following its South by Southwest debut. The film heads to theaters on August 21, offering audiences a mysterious, reality-bending nightmare centered around four friends whose post-college road trip turns into an impossible fight for survival.
The story follows a group of friends whose plans are shattered after taking a wrong turn onto a seemingly endless back road. As escape becomes increasingly impossible, reality begins to unravel, forcing them to confront a terrifying situation that defies logic.
It Ends is directed by Alexander Ullom and stars Akira Jackson, Finn Haas Yoon, Noah Toth, and Mitchell Cole.
The film briefly appeared as an online rental on Letterboxd, giving some viewers an early opportunity to experience the thriller ahead of its theatrical rollout. Horror Movies Uncut was among those who caught the film during its limited availability, and our full review is now available on the site.
