Brainstorm Media has released a new clip from the upcoming psychological thriller Affection ahead of the film’s On Demand debut on June 5, 2026.
Written and directed by BT Meza, the film stars Jessica Rothe, Joseph Cross, and Julianna Layne.
The newly released scene focuses on Ellie, played by Rothe, during a vulnerable and emotionally charged moment as she begins questioning the reality around her. As fragmented memories continue surfacing, Ellie struggles with the terrifying possibility that her recollections may not actually belong to her. The clip leans heavily into the film’s psychological tension while exploring identity, memory, and fear of losing oneself entirely.
The official synopsis reads:
“Afflicted by a mysterious condition that resets her memory, Ellie becomes trapped in a cyclical nightmare with a man who claims to be her husband. She soon must uncover the horrifying truth of her existence before she forgets it all again.”
The footage continues highlighting the unsettling atmosphere teased in earlier marketing materials, with Affection blending emotional drama and psychological horror through a looping memory-loss concept that appears increasingly unstable and dangerous as the story unfolds.
